Similar to painting the exterior of your home, staining (or painting) your deck offers protection against nature’s elements in addition to the aesthetic benefits of applying fresh, new coats of color. Preparing the deck’s surface for paint is a three step process. First, we want to clean the deck to remove, dirt or other build up. Once the deck has had ample time to dry, the deck is sanded to remove loose paint, wood, etc. Finally, the finish stain/paint is applied. After that, it is time to relax and enjoy your outdoor living space.
